  • Our HO Scale Standard Grade Crossing Signal can be lighted with our 603 LEDs (4 each) sold on the drop-down menu paint/tools. The kit includes stainless photo-etch details, brass tubing, pewter, and resin parts to make ONE SIDE crossing. The signal can be built with "stand-off" signage or signage mounted close to the mast - parts are included for either as well as a choice of cross bucks. This kit includes our updated signage. The photo etch signs should be painted white and decals applied which makes a very real looking signal. The kit also includes a magnetic "break-away" base.       These are probably the best of what I've seen on the market. Relatively easy to build. They are supplied with paper version as well as etched versions of the signage. I would have loved to use the etched but could not come up with a clever way to paint them. The only reason I give them a 4 out of 5 when it comes to detail/appearance, is that the visor over the light is very thick. It would be much nicer if they were cast without the visor and just added an etched piece made from brass. Other than that, they look great?
