    • The 1929 Speed Six Delivery Van is a Must Have for those modeling in the late 1920's
I recently purchased two (2) Speed Six Delivery Van kits from Showcase Miniatures which arrived just days ago. Upon close inspection, I find the resin castings to be very well produced with minimal sanding required to obtain a tight fit. The metal castings have no flashing or casting lines and can be assembled right out the box. The wheels in particular are exceptional metal casings which can be purchased separately from Showcase Miniatures as replacements for others manufacturers' less than satisfactory wheels. This kit also includes a photo etched windshield frame, side mirrors and steering wheel; laser cut clear styrene for the windows; and an ultra-thin Hendrick Beer decal set. I am looking forward to assembling, painting and adding these excellent two vehicles to my 1930 vintage diorama!!

    • Neat, useful item
I saw this item reviewed in NG&SL Gazette and ordered one the next day. Christmas related USPS delays, but Debbie was very helpful, and this is worth waiting for. I model the 1929 time period, and a colorful delivery truck like this is a much needed bit of detail. The castings and mouldings are clean and fit very well together. When painted per the color scheme and the -somewhat delicate-decals applied, it looks great. Easy build and worth the price.
