Please note: These six-speeds have been updated as of May 12, 2026. Prior to this date, we did not have accurate size information available for these models. Since then, new information has become available, allowing us to update all parts with more precise sizing.

As a result, the updated versions are approximately 15% larger. If you purchased your vehicle before this update and would prefer to keep the original size, we still have a limited number of the older versions in stock. Please contact us if you would like that option.

Alternatively, the smaller vehicles can still be useful for background scenes, where a slightly reduced scale would appear natural.

    • Built the 1929 IH Pickup
This was a fun kit. I liked the use of 5 different materials, although I ended up not using any of the stainless steel parts. When finished, it it is a quality model. My only complaint lies with the 3D-printed body parts. There were too many striations on multiples surfaces (you can see some of them in the factory-finished model). I was able to largely smooth these out with a combination of sanding, air eraser use, Mr Surfacer 500 filler, and Mr Surfacer 1500 spray, but it was a lot of work. Given the state of the art in 3D printing these days, at least in the model railroading space, I think these prints could be significantly improved. This would significantly reduce the time needed to finish the model. I'd also urge you to consider adding more pre-WWII, or even pre-Depression vehicles. Fords are over-represented in HO scale; we need other options. The International truck is welcome addition, but please don't stop there.

    • 1929 Pickup
Like the fact that I can buy vehicles for this time frame. Great quality in te 3D truck body.
Unlike the Jordan vehicles the truck seems easier to assemble. I haven't done that yet. Just primed and painted. I had to check something on assembly but it does look like assembly will be ok. Test Fit the parts.

    • Great kit!
What a great little kit! I feel that if you have even a moderate amount of experience at kit building, this will be no problem. In terms of detail and complexity, this kit is just a little easier to build and is a little less detailed than kits by Artitech and Jordan Highway miniatures. There are surprisingly few pieces, and they all fit together well with minimal cleanup or prep work. The parts are of different materials which all seem appropriate for the individual piece. I was impressed with the laser cut wooden deck for the pickup bed. It looks great! The only area that was a bit fiddly were the rear-view mirrors, but they actually went on with no problems once the holes were drilled. In short: Take your time and exercise a little care and you will end up with a nice looking model.

    • Couldn't Resist
I haven't even opened the little jewel box that these kits arrive in for this truck. But I have completed the stake bed Model and the "beer wagon". But I'm sure that the 5* ratings I gave to the other two trucks
will apply to this one too.

    • Great new model!
Model vehicle manufactures tend to produce kits made only with what they do: 3D printed, cast metal, injection molded plastic, etc. However, Showcase has made a multimedia kit using different materials for what each does best: 3d printed, etched, cast metal, laser cut wood and laser cut window glazing. The glazing is a big deal for me and I am surprised no one else had done it. On top of that, the choice of prototype is excellent. These trucks were relatively common in their day and can be modeled as a rusted hulk by modern era modelers, or restored for parades.

    • Best Vehicle Kit Around
In an HO scale world of Ford pickups here is a refreshing difference. Google the International Six Speed Truck and you will learn what a great performer this vehicle was in the 20s and 30s. No layout from that era should be without one or more (especially rural themed ones), and modelers of a later period will be thinking of excuses to have one once they see how sharp and easy to assemble this one is.  Among the pluses I found is that it gives me a reason to open the bright red paint jar and not violate the rivet counters’ prototype code. Mine is parked beside Showcase Miniatures’ fabulous DeLoney’s Barn and is located right in front of my favorite chair for viewing the layout.  My only gripe is that there are no versions available with dump beds, flatbeds, stake beds—there are lots of pictures online.
