Once again Showcase has raised the bar on quality. Excellent fit and almost zero flash on the parts.
The "plastic" cab is a real bonus as it is far easier to get a great finish over the older cast cab. All in all a great model. One small issue is fitting the cab glazing as in every N scale model. A small issue but one that is common in all these models. 5 stars.

This was the first N scale vehicle model I have ever purchased. Always opted for the way more expensive ready made models so I thought why not give one a try. I am very pleased with the detail level of this model and will be purchasing more!! I have always loved the challenge of building models but always thought these little die cast models couldn't possibly match the detail of premade. Boy was I wrong!! I just found another new hobby! I still need to paint the model because I was truly in awe over how nice this model was made. You have gained a lifetime customer if all of your models are this nice. I can only imagine they will get better and better.

One request I have though is More Modern Fire Engines!!!! say 1980's to present!
