    • West Coast Barn
      Excellent model with fine details and pre-wheatered materials.
      Simple to put togheter following the nice drawings provided.
      I've use only my Pan Pastel to give it a "real dirt" look.
      My only note to Debbie: not found any reference where the INT5 support go.... I've anyway "guess" to support the roof on side extension.
      This barn willl be part of my California SP layout vinery ... the Picchetti Bro.

      These structures, this little barn in particular, are deceptively subtle. When I saw this model pictured as shown, it brought images of real places I've been. I can't say I have that kind of effect from mass produced plastic structures. Scratchbuilt models are the only other way to get that effect, but the skills involved with getting there take years of work and study. This little barn, and its fellows, offer the modeler a means to obtain that result in kit form, saving time, effort and frustration. It's actually more cost effective than scratchbuilding.
