First: I did not catch that this is a "kit", so that is on me. At 78 building something that is that detailed is HARD (had to have someone else build it) ... This would have been MUCH better has it came preassembled. I am in the process of automating it (will eventually have 4 (I have double track) ) using break beam sensors and a programming piece that will provide instructions for each position. Unless you are young and skilled (or have an assistant like I have) I would not recommend this semaphore. Fortunately I have an electric wizard that can do most any thing and a retired machinery person that already deals in "small" things that can help me.

the very first kit i ordered From Showcase and was shocked at the detail and ease of assembly since I have ordered other items with the same great results . their products are fantastic I only wish they had more items

I was very pleased with everything about this kit. The only reason I gave it a 3 under ease of build is to deter a brand new modeler from trying it without a few kits under their belt. It is very well-detailed with some tiny parts which would be frustrating to a new modeler. The competed model is a real show-stopper. I like the variety of blades that were included. I highly recommend the kit and the company.

Although I modified the kit quite a bit, it was easy to build and the directions were sufficient. I really appreciated the multiple blades included as that made my modification easier. Would definitely recommend this kit to a friend.
