After constructing Showcase Miniatures Stake truck, Hanson's Tow Truck, and Mack Fire Truck, I wanted a nice and simple kit. The '34 Ford fit the bill. I chose a nice basic flat black with silver (chrome) trim. This is a very easy kit, but the detail striping does require a steady hand and good optics. I recommend this kit, especially for someone new to Showcase Miniatures N Scale vehicles.

Pre-war cars and trucks are hard to find in N scale, and some that are available are somewhat crude. This is a finely detailed model of an iconic car that will fit my 1930's-era Pacific Coast Railway layout and was still on the road well after the end of the war. The two-part design facilitates painting and is easy to assemble.
