Growing up in SP country, these mast bases and their searchlights, were my 'comfort' knowing a train could be up ahead. Somehow, searchlights without a single or double cabinet base don't fit the memory, even though they should. The SM cabinet bases (both single and double) are close if not museum quality. I don't know what that means, but I intend that these models when painted and installed bring it all back no compromises.
