The signal is fairly easy to build. However, I was unable to transfer the decals, which are noted as delicate, to the target in tact. I ended up painting the white parts and then using a fine Sharpie to color the cross bars. I used Testors Clear Cement and Window Maker to form the target's lens. The post for this kit bends very easily. I would recommend not mounting it rigidly to the layout if it is located anywhere that it might be knocked. In addition to printed signs, there are nice etched signs included in this kit with directions on how to paint them and oxidize the black lettering using a gel one can buy from www.epi.com.
