  • Assembles quickly and easily, exploded view assembly illustrations with step-by-step written instructions, brass etched walls and windows, detailed cast interior and pump island console, corporate sign plates, Mobile graphics and it is also compatible with microscale decals (decal sets for Mobile, Esso, Shell, Ashland and, & Sinclair).----- A history of the Wally's Filling StationThis little filling station is typical of many others that were erected during the 40's and 50's. It wasn't unusual to find three or four stations like Walley's competing at one intersection. They were typically owned and operated by local businessmen who would obtain a brand name franchise like Mobil, Standard, Texaco, etc. Our model is patterned after an existing service station off old US highway 99. The structure is not used as a filling station today. It now houses a successful muffler repair shop. Photo Contribution: Steve Cox
    • Wally's Filling Station
This was Showcase Miniatures first building kit and I have two of them on my layout. One of them is decorated as a Union 76 station and the other as a Signal gasoline station.

The only thing missing from the kit is Wally, himself, in various poses from the days when filling stations actually provided free services to their customers and were referred to as "Service Stations".
